How I ship a full site in 48 hours

The process I use to go from a rough brief to a live site in two days.

Day one is decisions. I get the offer, the audience, and the one action the page should drive. Then I pick type and colour and lock the structure before writing a line of layout code.

Day two is build and cut. I build top to bottom, then delete a third of it. Sections that repeat an idea get merged. Copy gets shorter. Anything that made me hesitate goes.

Then the boring part that nobody sees: mobile pass, contrast pass, metadata, image sizes, and a real load test. That is usually where a two-day site starts feeling like a two-week one.
